SOLARÂ POWER PROJECT
IN LIMANSKAYA,ODESSA
This Activ Solar project is a Solar Power Program located on Limanskaya, in the Odessa Region of Ukraine. The Limanskaya Solar Park was built using 181,192 multicrystalline solar modules installed in a single row system and 41 inverter stations.
This place is suitable for the exploitation of the solar energy since it receives a lot of sunlight (as we can see it in the following map, developed by solarGis):
COMBINED CONTRIBUTION
Activ Solar has constructed the Limanskaya Photovoltaic power plant which consists of 79.4 hectares of photovoltaic panels installed. This solar plant allows the use of the solar energy and its transformation to electric energy for human consumption. The Activ solar project was finished in March 2013. and it has an installed capacity of 43.4 MWpa.
This program has a cooling effect on temperatures equivalent to 21500 Credits.
Credits account the compensation effect of the temperature rise generated by the reduction of greenhouse gases emissions and/ or the reduction in heat absorption by changes in physical properties of the use of land in specific projects.
The total amount of Credits will be assigned to Citizens through coolmyplanet.org platform to offset their personal Environmental footprint.
